2N84 Trail Patrol
Report from Chuck and Nick – After the tree planting Nick, Kurt, Ryan, Cathy, Alycia, and I headed over to 2N84 to check out the conditions.
This was the first time I had been on this trail since it has been closed since I joined the trail crew. I must say this trail has one of the best views I have seen. The trail had a few spots of deep snow and a lot of mud. Obviously since no one has been on the trail it was in good shape. The only thing we found was a pair of shoes at the yellow post. I thought it was going to be in pretty bad shape from the fire but it wasn’t as bad as I had thought.
Only saw a couple of limbs/trees that could be moved, but also we didn’t go down offshoots B or C really. The shoes at the yellow post seemed suprisingly new, like they’d just gotten there that day or the day prior.
