Holcomb Workday
By Ryan – Our AAT maintenance day began with our safety meeting/sign-in at the Union 76 gas station on HWY 18 at 0830 hrs. Once gathered up, we proceed to the west entrance to Holcomb Creek. Upon arrival to the west entrance we found the wire fence intact. After traveling through the west end rock graden, we rallied up again and established our objectives for our AAT day. Our high priority work was to mitigate trail erosion caused from slope drainage, and install a gabion basket futher up trail to repair a washout/deep rut. …read on…

3N93 Trail Maintenance
After the way the day started I though for sure we wouldn’t get much done. Randy and Carmen’s Jeep broke early on and had to be towed to town for repairs. Jim towed them so they both left for the day. Thanks guys for coming and we hope you got home safely. During the hubbub Greg took a hike up to the shelf road to look at what we have already done. When we got there he was working on the cliff face, knocking sluff off the face. He likes what he saw and gave us the green light to complete the job. Thanks Greg. 3N93 Workday
On Saturday we hit the trail at 8:15am and headed for the gate on 3N14. We arrived at 8:45 and opened the gate. At 9:30 everyone had arrived, prepped for the trail and Nick had a safety meeting. We arrived at the Holcomb Creek crossing at 9:45am. With 24 MJR-ers present, I’d say it was a GREAT turn-out and I thank you all for helping me reach Nick’s goal of 300(+) hours in one day! …read on…
